John O'Connor-Press of Atlantic City — The city's Boys & Girls Club announced that Tracey Triniwell has been selected to be the organization's next CEO effective August 26, 2024.
She succeeds Charles A. Wallace II.
Triniwell, a club board member, comes into the role after spending more than a decade with AtlantiCare. She most recently served as administrative director of the hospital's Women's and Children's Service line, which provides family planning, gynecologic oncology, maternal fetal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, safe beginnings and urogynecology services.
"Tracey Triniwell has already demonstrated her passion for the Club, its mission, and the community we serve," board Chairman Stephen Clark said in a statement. "Her service to the Club has included stints on the Executive Committee, chairing the Program Committee and serving on Governance, Finance and Development Committees, as well as being the Club’s Area Council Liaison to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Her knowledge of the Club and her relationships in the community, combined with demonstrated strong leadership skills and a record of producing results, will play a pivotal role in driving our organization forward and fostering positive change within the community we serve."
Triniwell, a resort native, said she looks forward to making a positive impact on the community's youth.
"I have seen the transformative power of community engagement on our youth,” said Triniwell. “I am incredibly honored to lead this impactful organization that has been a cornerstone of support for our community for 55 years. Together with our dedicated team, we will continue to inspire, empower, and nurture the next generation of leaders hailing from Atlantic County.”
