Dear Ms. Tamica Mickle,
On behalf of the Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) students, I wanted to sincerely thank you for sponsoring our attendance at the JAG Legislative Day in Trenton on Monday. Your generous support, especially in providing our transportation with the van, made the trip possible. It was a wonderful experience for both the students and myself.
We had the opportunity to meet with Assemblywoman Eliana Pintor Marin, Senator Teresa Ruiz, Senator Vin Gopal, and Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds Jackson. Each of them took the time to speak with our students and encouraged them to follow their dreams. It was truly an inspiring experience for all of us. Additionally, we enjoyed a tour of the State House.
Donna Custard, President of the NJ Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and Dr. Sandra Strothers, Director of JAG-NJ, were both very impressed by our students. The girls spoke passionately with the representatives, explaining the importance of JAG and how many other students could benefit from the program.
Our students looked incredibly professional, thanks to OCEAN, Inc. for supplying us with the jackets! One of the assistants even mentioned they’d like to hire our students on the spot because of how well they presented themselves.
The students who attended JAG Legislative Day included Lilly Powers, JAG Career Association Communications Officer; Autumn Piegaro, President of Pinelands JAG; Abigayl Howell, Vice President of Pinelands JAG; and Grace Catalano, Vice President of Pinelands JAG. Once again, thank you for your support!
Sincerely, Maureen Neuner
