Ocean Inc. and agency subgrantee staff from Cape Assist, Monmouth/Ocean Police Athletic League (MOPAL), Atlantic City Police Athletic League, Ideal Institute of Technology and Concerned Citizens of Whitesboro participated in an internal EmpowOr Database Software Training/Luncheon held yesterday in Cape May County and facilitated by consultant Rachel Diaz.
Ocean Inc. and agency subgrantees always strive to improve and increase efficiency while maintaining the integrity of our data in the EmpowOR client tracking database. At yesterday’s training, Rachel Diaz demonstrated the new ‘Client EmpowOr Plug In’ for client intake using a direct link for partners via the agency website at https://www.oceaninc.org/partnerships
The new plug-in makes the enrollment process in the agency database much easier and will assist staff both internally and at outreach events while also using a QR Code for a quick and secure registration process.
As participants followed along, Ms. Diaz navigated them through their individual portal and introduced the ‘New Client EmpowOR Add Button’ designed to help streamline the onboarding process for new clients joining EmpowOR. With this button, clients will submit their information quickly and easily. Upon submission, the agency’s case manager will receive an email with a confirmation option allowing them to verify the information before enrolling the client, add services and outcomes, which helps to ensure accuracy.
For outreach events with existing clients, Diaz discussed the ‘Outreach Registration Button’ designed to provide an easy way for existing clients to register for events. The tool provides the ability to view and download registration lists for outreach events quickly and conveniently. Additionally, the Outreach Registration button will help save time and ensure accuracy by automating registration processes.
As previously referenced, the Outreach Registration QR code is designed to simplify the process of registering attendees for an event. The QR code will be printed and attached to agency event flyers allowing existing clients to quickly and securely register. On this page, Ocean Inc. and partnering staff will view and download registration records for each event. The QR code is an easy and secure way to keep track of who is attending and can be used to quickly verify each person's registration. #CommunityAction
